Members agree to include the full unmodified HTML code provided by Carolina Banner Exchange for displaying banner ads on their web site, on as many or few pages as they wish. This helps insure network integrity. Carolina Banner Exchange reserves the right to verify placement and correctness of its HTML code through any means. If you want to modify the code for some reason, please ask for permission first and tell us what you want to change.

All Carolina Banner Exchange network HTML codes must be placed on a page so that the majority of people visiting that page will see and notice the banner ad that is being displayed. Carolina Banner Exchange network reserves the right to deactivate accounts for web sites that contain little or no original content and/or sites where Carolina Banner Exchange network HTML code appears on any dynamically-generated page(s). A member may not artificially inflate traffic counts to his/her site using any device, program or other means. A member may not insert more than one Carolina Banner Exchange network HTML code on any page. A member may not include the Carolina Banner Exchange network HTML code on any page(s) that automatically reload or go to another page without interaction from the user (i.e., client pull or server push) or on a page which is inaccessible to the general surfing population, including but not limited to pop-up windows and hidden frames. A member may not place his/her Carolina Banner Exchange network HTML code on pages that are unrelated to the site being advertised. Anyone found in violation of these policies can be immediately suspended or banned from the Carolina Banner Exchange.

Carolina Banner Exchange network retains ownership and all rights to the Carolina Banner Exchange network name, software, databases, reports, web site and information. Carolina Banner Exchange network reserves the right to restrict the use of its name, system, logos, software, lists, databases, reports or any information obtained or created by Carolina Banner Exchange network. If you create a new logo, please submit it for approval first.

Members acknowledge and agree that their web site information (name, URL, traffic counts, etc.) may be utilized by Carolina Banner Exchange network. Possible uses include (but are not limited to) lists of the busiest sites, lists of member sites, etc. Members agree to allow Carolina Banner Exchange network (and members of public or trade press) to use screen shots of any web page that contains the Carolina Banner Exchange network HTML code in Carolina Banner Exchange network promotional materials. All members agree to utilize the services of Carolina Banner Exchange network at their own risk. Carolina Banner Exchange network, its administrator(s), partners and sponsors cannot be held liable for any damage or loss of information that may occur from the use of the services of Carolina Banner Exchange network. Although we will make every reasonable effort to provide a high standard of quality for our services, Carolina Banner Exchange network makes no guarantees of any kind regarding the dependability, accuracy or timeliness of the services from Carolina Banner Exchange network.

At any given time, the Carolina Banner Exchange HTML code on a member's web site may display an advertisement from a sponsor, from other members or from Carolina Banner Exchange itself. Public service ads (such as American Red Cross) may also appear. If you object to any banner, please let us know.

The following types of sites are NOT allowed to participate in the Carolina Banner Exchange network: Sites that contain pornographic material, sites with links to pornographic sites, sites encouraging illegal activity or racism, sites providing instructions or discussions about performing illegal activities, sites engaged in any libelous or harassing activities, sites that promote or utilize software or services designed to deliver unsolicited e-mail, sites that are otherwise inappropriate. Carolina Banner Exchange network reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine whether or not any site may participate. If you object to any site participating, please let us know why.

Anyone found in deliberate violation of these terms and conditions is subject to being banned from the Carolina Banner Exchange network. These terms and conditions can be modified at any time, without notice in advance.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold Carolina Banner Exchange network harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, liability costs and/or expenses (including but not limited to attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of this agreement, acts of God or any third-party's rights, including but not limited to infringement of any copyright, violation of any proprietary right and invasion of any privacy rights. This obligation will survive any termination of this agreement. Joining the Carolina Banner Exchange network signifies you accept all terms and conditions.

You may cancel your membership in the Carolina Banner Exchange at any time. If you decide to cancel, we are sorry, but any and all free, paid or earned banner ad credits will also be canceled without opportunity for refund.

We respect your privacy! We will NOT rent, sell or give away your name, phone number, e-mail address or ANY identifiable personal information to ANY third parties! Our tracker may record your computer's IP address for aggregate statistical purposes only. We do not use any cookies, spyware, malware or scumware. Any information you provide to us is held with utmost care and security and will not be shared unless required to do so by law.
