How Carolina Banner Exchange works (It's FREE!)

First of all, ONLY web sites from North Carolina or South Carolina are eligible to participate in the Carolina Banner Exchange. (Where your site is hosted doesn't matter.) The concept is quite simple! You agree to display banner ads from other members of the Carolina Banner Exchange somewhere on your web site. In return, your web site's banner ad will be displayed on other web sites that belong to the network. Carolina Banner Exchange uses the standard 2:1 exchange rate.

For every 2 banners shown on your site, your banner will be shown on another member site once. We also give you 500 free banner ad credits to help get you started. If you would like to have your banner ad shown ONLY in your state, you can restrict it to that "Zone" only. If you prefer to have your site promoted in both North Carolina and South Carolina, your banner ad will rotate through all sites in both states. Likewise, you also get to decide to show ads on your site from other Carolina Banner Exchange members in North Carolina, South Carolina or both states.

Obviously, having your ads run in both states will give you much wider distribution. And, allowing ads from both states to show on your site will also result in a much greater variety of ads being displayed. This is up to you, but you can log in and change this setting at any time. Rest assured, only kid-safe banners will be allowed. No inappropriate banner ads will be approved. If questionable, we'll err on the side of caution.

The Carolina Banner Exchange got off to a great start! Our first month, over 10,000 banner ads were delivered with no problems. Once we have enough sites in both states, we plan to offer 3 regions in each state - Lowcountry, Midlands and Upstate in South Carolina, as well as Coast, Heartland and Mountains in North Carolina. This will allow more specific advertising targeting. Your banner will also rotate at bottom of the Top North and South Carolina Web Sites List.
